A Jaipur-based startup in India has launched an application named ‘Remove China Apps’. This application has been launched amid the growing tensions between India and China and the escalating resentment against the country worldwide.

The ‘OneTouchAppLabs’ developed app automatically detects Chinese app in your phone and provides a simple UI to remove them.

The app has already gained huge popularity since its release on May 17, and has surpassed a million downloads in less than two weeks.

Some days back educational reformer Sonam Wangchuk posted a message on Twitter “Cheen ko Jawaab, Sena degi bullet se, Naagrik dengey wallet se (Answer to China will be given by soldiers with their bullets and citizens with their wallets)”.

Sonam Wangchuk futher said to an interview with Republic TV that, Chinese actions on the border with India are a result of domestic dissatisfaction over the Chinese government’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis.

He encouraged people to discontinue using all Chinese software “within a week,” like the Tik Tok video-sharing platform. Sonam said that Indians are free to choose what they spend on their wallet, and if a country does not treat India fairly, they should use boycotts as “personal economic sanctions.”
