World's smallest woman Jyoti Amge votes in NagpurHeads turned when the world’s tiniest woman, actress and Guinness World Record holder Jyoti Amge – who stands just 63 cm tall – turned up to vote at a polling station in Nagpur on Thursday.

Sporting a red-and-checks sleeveless dress, the 25-year-old woman at 2 feet, 1 inch, patiently stood in the queue and exercised her franchise.

“I request all people to vote. Please vote first and then go to complete all your other works,” Amge told the media as she displayed her marked finger.

Amge, a celeb cook and entrepreneur, has appeared in Bigg Boss 6, acted in American and Italian television series and has her own statue in the Celebrity Wax Museum, Lonavala (Pune).

Jyoti Kisange Amge (born 16 December 1993) is an Indian woman and actress notable for being the world’s smallest living woman according to Guinness World Records. Following Amge’s 18th birthday on 16 December 2011, she was officially declared the world’s smallest woman by Guinness World Records with a height of 62.8 centimetres. Her restricted height is due to a genetic disorder called achondroplasia.

Amge was featured in the 2009 documentary entitled Body Shock: Two Foot Tall Teen. She was also a guest participant on Bigg Boss 6, an Indian television show. On 13 August 2014, she was cast in the fourth season of American Horror Story: Freak Show as Ma Petite.
