Ahead of the official Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019, Xiaomi unveiled its first 5G smartphone.
The phone is actually a 5G version of the Mi Mix 3 which was originally introduced late last year. The Mi Mix 3 5G is a full-screen flagship smartphone without a notch and a sliding camera on the front.
In terms of specifications, the Mi Mix 3 is equipped with a 6.39-inch AMOLED full-screen display. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and Qualcomm’s X50 5G modem giving the advanced network capability.
Camera capabilities include dual-camera setup with 12-megapixel wide-angle and telephoto sensor at the rear and a 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor combination in the front slider for selfies. A 3,800mAh battery supports quick charging.
The Mi MIX 3 5G will be priced around 599 euros. It will be available starting May in colour choices of Blue and Black.
